The recycling of waste contributes decisively to energy saving and the reduction of polluting and climate-changing emissions. The term indicates the set of procedures aimed at managing the entire process of waste, from its production to its final destination, thus involving the collection, transport, treatment (recovery or disposal) phase up to reuse / recycling waste materials. There are many types of plastic disposal processes, and all aim to produce granulate, which is then recycled. There are different types of plastics: PE (polyethylene) in bags, toys, detergent bottles, plastic wrap. PP (polypropylene) used to produce a wide variety of objects like carpet, furniture, food containers and garden furniture. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is present in windows, doors, and in egg cartons and piping. PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is used to produce beverage bottles.
