Tire recycling is the process of recycling waste tires that are no longer suitable for use due to wear. There are many recycling processes that can be used to recycle scrap tyres. Most of the plants granulates waste tyres into a fine rubber powder producing different sizes and sperating the 3 main components: rubber, steel and textile fiber. The process basically consists of 4 phases: beading, shredding, granulation and micronization.
